After hinting on X yesterday that the company he co-founded decades ago has completed another BTC purchase, Michael Saylor announced the development minutes ago, indicating that Strategy has indeed upped its bitcoin reserve.<\/p>\n
Although the latest buy was relatively modest compared with some of the previous ones, Strategy’s BTC holdings still reached a new all-time high of 848,250 units.<\/p>\n
Aside from spending $21.5 million to acquire 250 BTC at an average price of $86,194, Strategy repurchased another $192 million in preferred stock (STRC). Its USD stash has slipped to $5.5 billion after the latest accumulations, down from over $6 billion just a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Strategy resumed<\/a> its BTC accumulation spree in the middle of September after the summer hiatus, during which it even sold on several occasions. The current streak now extends to four weeks in a row with consecutive purchases.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, STRC’s price continues to recover from the summer lows. Recall that the asset tumbled far below its par level of $100 to under $75 during its darkest hour. However, Strategy’s decision to halt its BTC accumulation in order to rebuild investors’ trust in STRC, as well as its USD stash, turned out to be quite beneficial for the preferred stock, which closed on Friday at $99.66.<\/p>\n
