The question is: what follows on Monday?\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In a true Sunday manner, Strategy\u2019s Chairman and former CEO made some interesting comments on X regarding the company\u2019s latest move on bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s message reads, \u2018Doing \u20bfusiness,\u2019 using the cryptocurrency\u2019s logo as the first letter of the second word. While many popular crypto analysts and market observers reshared the post and speculated that it means Strategy has resumed its BTC purchases, a look into last week\u2019s events might tell a different story.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Doing \u20bfusiness. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PtekVgHXDp\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/PtekVgHXDp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Michael Saylor (@saylor) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/saylor\/status\/2086437347193975069?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">August 9, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Saylor had posted another cryptic message on X last Sunday before Strategy <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/strategy-sold-over-100-million-in-bitcoin-buys-back-more-strc\/\">announced<\/a> its third bitcoin sale for the year, in which it disposed of 1,638 units for just over $100 million.<\/p>\n<p>The analysts at Lookonchain had flagged the sale even before it was officially made public, as the firm\u2019s total holdings dropped to 842,138 BTC.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, they <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lookonchain\/status\/2084816808234959110\" target=\"_blank\">outlined<\/a> another potential offload, as a wallet linked to the world\u2019s largest corporate holder of bitcoin transferred more than 1,000 units.<\/p>\n<p>The company used a portion of its proceeds to purchase its own STRC stock, which is supposed to have a par price of $100. However, it slumped below $80 several weeks ago, and Strategy reacted by halting its BTC purchases in late June to refocus on rebuilding its USD reserve.
