The Consensys exec said this was due to credibly neutral steward organizations like Ethlabs launching to accelerate ETH\u2019s capabilities through parallel efforts beyond the embattled Ethereum Foundation.<\/p>\n
He highlighted Ethereum\u2019s 11-year 100% uptime, censorship resistance, permissionlessness, and global neutrality as core advantages for corporations and governments building sovereign network platforms.<\/p>\n

Execs Bullish, Traders Bearish<\/h2>\n
The big endorsement came in response to a post on X\u00a0by Sharplink CEO Joseph Chalom, who\u00a0said<\/a> that Ethereum is entering a new phase, with<\/span>\u00a0\u201corganizations focused on infrastructure, go-to-market, and more are launching to accelerate the growth of the coming institutional supercycle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two Ethereum-focused organizations, Ethlabs and Ethereum Institutional, have been launched recently<\/a>, backed by EF developers and Ether treasury companies.<\/p>\n
However, despite all of the bullish sentiment coming from executives, investors, and traders don\u2019t agree<\/a> or appear split on the underlying asset.<\/p>\n
CryptoQuant analyst \u2018Darkfost\u2019 said on Thursday that there are two very different reactions behind the ETH panic. \u201cThe crypto market is currently going through a phase of total indecision.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAssets like ETH find themselves in a particularly fragile position,\u201d due to swings in the US-Iran conflict and the threat of Fed rate hikes this year.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIn this climate, the slightest market fluctuation is enough to trigger panic moves, as was the case when ETH came to test the $1,500 level.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
However, the analyst also observed exchange flows that exhibit a \u201cdual movement\u201d which\u00a0 \u201creflects a split in how market participants are reading the situation.\u201d\u00a0Some are giving in to panic and selling, while others see it as an opportunity to increase their ETH exposure, they said.<\/p>\n
ETH Price Weakens<\/h2>\n
Panic and selling have prevailed again over the past 24 hours as the asset lost 1.8%, falling to $1,720 during the Thursday morning Asian trading session.<\/p>\n
ETH has hit resistance at $1,800 three times this week, each time being rejected. It is now back at a weekly low and poised to drop below $1,700 unless broader market momentum returns. Zooming out, the asset is at a bear market bottom, down 65% from its peak.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cETH has spent years below the 2021 high, failed multiple reclaim attempts, reset sentiment, and returned to the same exhaustion zone for the third time,\u201d said<\/a> analyst \u2018Cryptollica.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
This is \u201cnot early distribution,\u201d but \u201clate compression,\u201d they said before adding that if this zone holds, \u201cthe next move will surprise people still reading it as weakness.\u201d<\/p>\n
