Bitcoin is on \u201cthe edge of a breakdown,\u201d reported onchain analytics firm Swissblock on Monday.<\/p>\n
The analysts noted that the loss of the \u201cCost Basis Zone\u201d has already triggered a decisive drawdown.<\/p>\n
Consolidation inside this zone appeared constructive, but there was no confirmation, and BTC failed to hold it, showing little strength when trying to reclaim it, they said.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat shifted the framework from consolidation into breakdown risk.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
BTC Needs to Re-enter The Battlefield<\/h2>\n
The Cost Basis Zone is currently between around $72,000 and $79,000, according to the Swissblock chart.<\/p>\n
It measures the price range<\/a> where recent Bitcoin buyers, especially short-term holders, acquired their BTC on average and acts as a key support\/resistance level based on the actual purchase prices of coins in circulation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe only way BTC recovers its bullish posture is by re-entering the Cost Basis Battlefield with strength.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBitcoin is on the edge of a breakdown.<\/p>\n
The loss of the Cost Basis Zone has already triggered a decisive drawdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this moment, Bitcoin has completely decoupled from every other macro asset, for the first time since it was created.\u201d<\/p>\n
It will also be the first time any macro asset has \u201ccreated its own unique path and ignored the underlying forces that govern financial markets,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Bitcoin Dumps to $70K<\/h2>\n
Bitcoin fell to $70,000 in early Asian trading on Tuesday morning, marking a 3.8% daily decline.<\/p>\n
The asset is currently down 8% on the week and is poised to fall back into the $60,000 zone, returning to levels last seen in early April.<\/p>\n
It is still largely range-bound, as it has been since early February, but could now fall to the bottom of that range, around $65,000.<\/p>\n
A recent SEC filing revealed that Michael Saylor\u2019s Strategy sold 32 BTC<\/a> in late May for around $2.5 million, compounding the overwhelmingly bearish sentiment.<\/p>\n
