And millions will be pre-funded. That&#8217;s free money,&#8221; a montage of children speaking directly to the camera say in the ad.<\/p>\n<p><span\/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/super-bowl\" target=\"_blank\">Super Bowl 60<\/a>, which will air on NBC, is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/02\/07\/super-bowl-commercial-cost-ad-execs.html\">prime real estate<\/a> for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/09\/03\/nbc-record-nfl-season-ad-revenue-super-bowl-lx-spots.html\">advertisers<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Millions of Americans tune in to the Super Bowl \u2014 some just for the commercials. <\/p>\n<p>Each year, the price of those national spots breaks a record. After last year&#8217;s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs was watched by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/02\/11\/super-bowl-59-viewership.html\">record<\/a> 127.7 million viewers, the cost of this year&#8217;s ads went up to $8 million per 30-second commercial, on average, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/01\/30\/super-bowl-ad-prediction-market-contracts.html\">CNBC previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"Placeholder-ArticleBody-Video-108260823\">\n<div role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" id=\"Placeholder-ArticleBody-Video-108260823\" class=\"PlaceHolder-wrapper\" data-vilynx-id=\"7000402760\" data-test=\"VideoPlaceHolder\">\n<div class=\"InlineVideo-videoEmbed\" id=\"InlineVideo-0\" data-test=\"InlineVideo\">\n<div class=\"InlineVideo-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"InlineVideo-inlineThumbnailContainer\"><span class=\"InlineVideo-videoButton\"\/><span\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<p>Along with a billboard in New York City&#8217;s Times Square and a Trump Account Summit, which was livestreamed from Washington, D.C. on Jan. 28, the Trump administration\u00a0has pulled out all the stops to get the word out in recent weeks about the new accounts. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"parents-can-now-open-a-trump-account\" class=\"ArticleBody-subtitle\"><a id=\"headline0\"\/>Parents can now open a Trump account<\/h2>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<p>As of the official start of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/01\/08\/irs-accepting-tax-returns.html\">tax season<\/a> on Jan. 26, parents and guardians can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/01\/26\/open-trump-account-tax-return.html\">open a Trump account<\/a>\u00a0by making elections on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/f4547.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">IRS Form 4547<\/a> when they file their 2025 tax return. Starting in mid-2026, an account can also be opened online at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trumpaccounts.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Trumpaccounts.gov<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Children born between 2025 and 2028 are eligible for a one-time $1,000 contribution from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The money will be invested in a diversified fund that tracks a U.S.-stock index.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is meant as a long-term investment in the beneficiary, which means the money is &#8216;locked&#8217; there until the beneficiary turns 18,&#8221; said Jason Ewas, associate director at the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program, a nonprofit forum. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This makes sense since the goal is growth of the accounts and wealth-building,&#8221; he said. &#8220;But it means that nobody should view this as a place to access emergency funds, because it is not.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trumpaccounts.gov projects that the initial $1,000 Treasury deposit, alone, could grow to $6,000 by age 18, $15,000 by age 27 or $243,000 by age 55.
